Tony Robbins Is An Alien

I will probably get into a lot of trouble saying this, but its true.

Tony Robbins is an alien.

The reason I know this is because it is impossible to be that put together, emotionally, physically, mentally, to be a normal human.

Humans don’t come in this shape. They come broken.

Like the fragile handle with care box, kicked down the hall. This is how we enter the world.

We are fragile things forced into a world that wants noting more than to kick us down the hall of life.

When I see people like Tony I ask “How can there be people like him out there?”

It can’t be!

I mean, the only other option is that he was just as broken, if not more broken, as the rest of us, but he somehow figured it out.

But it cant be that. Impossible.

right?

Right?

Then I learned a little more about him. I learned about his past and what he had to overcome.

I learned about his obsession, his addiction to help people.

He talks about it. He talks about the struggle. Look him up. Google him. Watch his TED Talk.

It made me think about myself. the broken parts of me that i can’t seem to put together.

He made me think about the feeling I have inside that nothing will ever get better. that i will drive myself into the ground with my pain without ever having resolved any of it.

I think he has given me a spark of hope that even i can become what i need to become.

That its possible.

That its Human. Not Alien. To be normal, and healthy, and at peace with yourself.

I watched his documentary. I’m not your Guru. Watch it. Its good.

Maybe he’s not your style. thats fine. Maybe he is too much over the top for you. Thats also fine.

Don’t go to his seminars. They are expensive. it costs over $4k to go to his Seminars. it might not be for you.

Thats not the point. The point is that this is an image of an alien who is not an alien. He is like you and me and pushed himself to become the best.

Thats all i needed to know. I like his ideas, his style, but the main paradigm shift for me was this — He made himself.

Whether you buy in to his system or not it doesn't matter.

When you look into the world and you see these successful aliens running around living a life you don’t believe is possible, you need to remember… they are as human as you are.

Believing in the “Aliens”. Believing that there really is a difference between people who lead successful lives and those like us who will always struggle, is our own fault.

Maybe not your fault personally, but our culture’s fault. Our culture’s way of dividing us into the have’s and the have nots. whether its about having financial wealth, or emotional wealth.

Now, i’m not going to drop some sage advice here. I’m not going to tell you you can be anything. I don’t know what you can or cant do. I definitely wont be able to do some things in this life.

My only thought is about feeling like some people are aliens.

I say all this, not because i think i am the one to bring this pearl of wisdom to the world, but because for a long time, i felt that there was an “Us and Them”.

I still feel that today. I still feel at times that there will always be those people that are perfect, and live perfect lives.

And then I look to the people who I admire most, learn their story, and remember that… there are no such things as aliens.
