My shy personality and lack of confidence have been a big problem for me. Due to these I can not make more friends because I am not talkative. I feel like I am not fit in outside world, this has lead me to negative thinking. It is stressful. After listening to Shawn Achor and knowing about different techniques of feeling good and happy I can cope up with this stress. I can use gratitude technique,writing journal and random acts of kindness to make myself feel contented.

Gratitude is about writing 3 things for which you feel thankful on daily basis. Through this technique I can make my mind practice for thinking in a positive way. Journal writing is about writing a good experience that you had during the day. Through writing them one can recall and relive them. Random acts of kindness is about connecting with people making them feel good through thanking them for something which they did for you on daily basis. This practice can make me have more friends. It will make it easy for me to connect with people and be engaged with my social circle.

I practiced writing three things for which I feel grateful at the start of the day and writing a good experience I had during the day at night on daily basis. These made my mind think of good things often and be happy for them. In this way things which are not good in life somehow do not bother much because whenever they come in my mind I can think of most good things that I possess.
