#JustStart Project
My #Juststart Project is “Being A Punctual” or “Being on Time”
As Amal Academy gave a challenge in online course to do the task that you didn’t do already or feel fear to do. I started work on it and took action on different task on which I didn’t work already but now doing work on it. So this week, I worked on my “ Time Management” and tried to be punctual.
Punctuality is being able to complete a required task or fulfill an obligation before or at a previously designated time.
- Being on time
- Not being late
I know, If I want to change my life and want to be successful then I have to must be “Punctual”. The reason behind to achieve this is that, It is the first step to become a good Leader, good man even a better person of a society.Because we all have so many tasks to do at a single time and if we don’t manage our time for each task then it will be difficult for us to do so efficiently and on time. And if we couldn’t complete our task on time then our work is useless.
In the past, I have faced bad experience on achieving this. I was punctual from my childhood but further, because I keep busy myself in so many activities and due to a lot of work, I mostly late.
So, to be punctual, the work I needed to do was;
- Make Time Management Schedule (To-do lists):
Firstly, I made a to-do list of my whole week tasks and follow the Eisenhower’s Matrix(learned in previous Amal course) to prioritize my work on the time availability. And i tried to follow my schedule strictly.
- Importance of watch:
I’m a regular to wear the watch but still not follow the time. The second thing which I started to realize the importance of watch which wear in wrist. Use that to watch the time to manage your tasks on time.
- Use Of Alarm:
Thirdly, I developed the habit to set the alarm and reminders to do the most important tasks on time.
This week when I started work on it, I felt some difficulty in almost the first two days as to manage the work in exact that time which I decided in my time-table but sudden I overcome on it. Even now, I’m enjoying to do work in this manner.
After the experience of this week, I learnt that, It was not too difficult to manage the time. I come to know that, “Manage your time or It will manage you.’’
I realized, “The one thing which we can’t recycle is our wasted TIME.” I learnt, “Punctuality is not about being on ‘TIME’, It’s basically about ‘RESPECTING YOUR OWN COMMITMENT’.” Because If I can’t reach on time, it means, I’m not fulfill my commitment. So, I should never be late.
For the future, I will follow the steps which I generalised for me and follow them strictly. I will respect my own commitments, because If i will not respect myself, nobody respects me. I will try to be do or reach before the time decided. Inn Shaa ALLAH…
