How does extremism impact an individual’s life?
Any object that crosses its limits, boundaries and exceeds to a higher level may cause harmful to society and individuals' life.
The word extremism refers to the single word “Extreme” which means anything present to an excessive degree or in contrast to the original one.
Extremism is a game of mindsets where anyone or any group may seek to mislead others or even themselves. They set their minds on one object or an un-necessarily goal that is prevalent to them whether it is right or wrong, good or bad. They want to persuade it blindly at any cost, with the love or affection within them.
Sometimes it can be materially, sometimes it can be spiritually and its result may always seem to be worst.
Extremism is in all over the globe, whether it represents cultural, religious, social, political, economic, gender bias or in other domains that are rooted in the ground realities of our society.
Generally, it is notable in various researches that an extremist person has anger, anxiety, distress, aggressive nature and short-temper issues. Because extremism affected the lives of creative individuals and shrunk their thought processing.
It may look tiny or sometimes look like a habit but it is the root of toxic things that needs attention as we have diagnosed because it works like a (CANCER) disease which is spread rapidly and steadily in a body and endangering the life of a person, same goes to this, extremism made them mentally ill and handicapped. It is a serious progeny to resolve as soon as possible after knowing because it is infected others and directly leads to violence in society.
How it works in our society
It becomes a practice of an extremist person to preach and convince others to follow their thoughts and obey their likes or dislikes.
People are more conscious and superstitious regarding their religious matter, these people misuse religion in the name of the true believer because they are blind followers these people do not want to listen or tolerate anyone or listen to a single word or any act committed against their religion. If someone has done any act regarding religion so they must be punishable.
Who the hell do we decide they deserve to punish? Do we know our religion as much as it is needed?. Are you orthodox and exemplified in religion?. If you do not have an answer to these queries so why you are posing your thoughts on someone else?. These circumstances demolish the peace and create a war situation in the name of extremism towards religious inclination, but the fact is that no religion exists in the world that says harm to others because “No religion is higher than humanity” quoted by the late ABDUL SATTAR EDHI.
The political situation is also the same as in other forums people extremely connected with their political parties either as followers or as a member of the party they can be easily do anything for their party, they give their lives or take other’s life with no awe, they can humiliate and murder anyone, somehow for the sake of seats or any other dispute because everyone wants their level high. These phenomena further give chance to injustices, unaccepted and irrational policies of the government that could be possing on the general public by holding and rulable corrupt and cunning person, so that may destroy the social environment and increase violence in the socio system of society.
Role of Media
In addition, the role of media is far more important in extremism they show monopoly in every country one hand they injected negative issues in people’s minds like(built) and trying to narrow down their perspectives and enhance combat against anything, on the other-side, unnoticed and unconsidered basic issues of general people, increasing taxes, that directly hit inflation, injustices, murders, political disputes during election campaigns, leaders corruption and their hypocrisy that removes people’s beliefs on the democratic system, so they do what they want to do.
Media gives us current information and gratify our needs. In order to play their role effectively, they need to be neutral or humanizing, which gives coverage to both sides of the story and promote positivity while highlighting issues faced by the average person every day.
Finding
We need to find out and assist an individual who copes with all of this, our new generation has faced this a lot because of the uprising issues of the communication gap. Although there is a great need for social movements in every country that try to work out towards the development of civil societies. Where every individual can live the rest of their lives happily and with prosperity, in the hope, the effort will be valuable to maintain peace on our planet and make it a desirable place to live.
