“A Story of my Mentor”

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to have great mentors who were willing to take a bet on me and provide meaningful opportunities for growth. These mentors have not only taught me about what is important (both personally and professionally); they have also given me several big breaks.

The value of the mentor and men-tee relationship continues to be made clear to me each and every day. I know that I wouldn’t be in the position I am today if it weren’t for the impact and guidance of my mentors. Here are the top three lessons I’ve learned about mentor-ship that I think can help anyone find career success.

Don’t be afraid to seek out mentor-ship
Learn to recognize the accelerators in your life
Remember that mentor-ship is a two-way street
Show humility with courage

Mentor-ship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. The mentor may be older or younger than the person being mentored, but she or he must have a certain area of expertise.

One of my mentor is Sir Anwar. I first time met him ,when I was in 9th class. He is about 50 at that time. Now ,what I am is due to the collaborative improvement into my personality due to my mentors .He is such an experienced person that gave me advice at any moment of my life.I do not move step forward towards him to become my mentor but he always likes to become a guiding star for many students among of us.

At that time,he told me that how I have to do hard work.He had special affiliation towards me because I always like to receive some piece of guidance and counselling from him.He says , Success is no accident. There are no secrets to success. A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence. Keep your dreams alive. Success isn’t always about greatness. The whole credit of mu success goes to him!

I also find out that we cannot gain something from any adviser without humility.Gratitude is important in order to get best advice from other person. If a person have a courage to speak then he can contact with any one of his mentor. But next we have to show humility to make our relation more better and flexible because if we are persistent on one thing we cannot receive anything more than this.

Be like a bamboo ,the higher you grow,The better you bow….
