Twitter Profile Survival Guide

I created a quick little Twitter profile guide that will hopefully help users optimize their profiles to appear more professional and informative. The guide provides Twitter users with five main areas to focus their attention when making positive changes to their profiles: name and handle, bio, header and profile images, their tweets themselves and their pinned tweets.

Because employers in the professional realm are increasingly growing interested in the use of social media, it is important for young professionals to understand how to use social channels like Twitter effectively. Both personal and business Twitter pages are powerful ways to promote your brand, and therefore should properly reflect your brand. Many Twitter users, both new and old, miss out on many of the opportunities Twitter offers because they do not optimize their profiles. Simple adjustments like changing your handle from @koolgurl15 to @RachaelReh will help users find you and take you more seriously.
