I came into this article skeptical because usually the direction it goes is how the new (not new) and improved context api replaces redux. Sure, you could, but the developer tools and the good patterns you get bundled with redux makes me think redux is here to stay.
This article, however, is enlightened with the question “why do we use redux/context” and making the connection to REST APIs. Well done.
