It’s obvious that people can be cruel, and that fat shaming is a form of bullying, however, as…

Congratufuckinglations. Hate to break it to you: but you are being preachy. You have NO idea if this writer has tried every diet in the book or has a medical issue that makes it harder for them to lose weight. Just because you’ve succeeded in losing 35 lbs in 5 months (check back with us in a year or 2 and let us know if you’ve kept that weight off or not, or gained 50 lbs) doesn’t give you the right to go around telling people ‘Just do what I did. Blah blah blah… ‘

Want to *not* sound preachy? Don’t tell other people what they should do. Don’t make sweeping generalizations that there’s no reason anybody need be fat if we all just dieted and exercised like you did. You are not everybody and everybody is not you.

Yes, it’s up to us to decide how we respond to something/someone, but we have a right to speak out against shaming and bullying of any kind because those that do it also have the ability to stop doing it, especially if that person is hoping to become the leader of the free world.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
