I dropped my cheating husband like a hot potato but we didn’t have kids together and he wasn’t worth fighting for. Some people can separate sex and love. Some wives don’t want to do what husband’s want in bed, and vice versa. Some people have a harder time resisting temptation than others. People in powerful positions have groupies. Rock stars have groupies, actors have groupies, cops have groupies, so do politicians. Women are enamored with these men. You could probably google some pretty homely looking senators that have had their share of infidelity. Also figure that narcissism works into the equation.
