What I Learned from 100 Days without Meat, Dairy, Caffeine and Alcohol
Mitch Nick

Thanks for sharing your story! As a vegan of 4 years, it makes me so happy to see people considering cutting back so significantly on the things that harm animals, the environment, and our own bodies! I recently gave up alcohol, as well. I made it 2 months and then got drunk at a holiday party; woke up the next morning too hungover to run or do much of anything. It’s been 3 months since then without a drop. I’m bad at doing things halfway, so I find I typically have to go all in with things like that, and I just feel much more productive without it. Same with coffee. It hurts my stomach beyond belief, though I adore the taste and smell. I’m heading to Costa Rica this week for a 10 day vacation and know the coffee is going to be hard to resist, especially since my husband drinks tons of it. Anyway, I appreciate you being honest with yourself and with others about your journey and wish you the best of luck in the future! PS you look insanely fit now, congrats!
