On “Woke” White People Advertising their Shock that Racism just won a Presidency
Courtney Parker West

If Black Lives matter, why does no one of the black race stand against them and the negativity that they tar and feather the rest of the supposedly good people with? Or am I right in thinking that it’s ok for what BLM does because of ‘white privilege?’ Granted, I may be stepping in something that might be a bit over my head as a white woman and all, but it seems to me that there is something of a double standard going on here, and it scares me.

I’m neither Trump or Hillary in this election for what that’s worth, and would have loved to see Jill Stein get more of the recognition I feel she deserves as the other woman candidate running for the presidential vote. For all the ‘marginalized’ races, genders, orientations, I do wish that circumstances were better for you, but in a lot of ways you have only yourselves to blame for letting the actions of so many with hateful intent blind the rest of us to the truths you stand for and beleive in.
