Actually, I was linking to this, but on closer inspection, some of this information incorrect (I had 2 interviews with one officer, not 3 with an officer and their chief), and the main author has not demonstrated where they are getting their information and authority from. They do not seem to be an immigrations lawyer nor to work with the Border Force in any capacity publicly revealed that I can determine. Perhaps their reputation among friends is solid, and I’m sure their friends are happy for their advice.
But, given how people are overeager on this topic to read into shifting information on the Internet rather than contact proper authorities to ensure their and their attendees’ safe transit, I will be taking the link down.
Would love to see a real lawyer’s take on this, especially in a public forum where we can pin down the facts person to person. (Where did that third interview come from?)
