This list is problematic. It’s not that the list is bad, I’ve admittedly read 90% of these books. The problem is that what’s considered “must read” is so narrow in perspectives and the lack of women authors on this list is just depressing. I’m not even sure it’s Darius’s fault — it’s what we have all been taught.
