I’m leaving on a jet plane

I’ve said my final goodbyes and I guess it’s actually time to go. I’ve already been at the airport for an hour and still have another two here to wait — I guess that’s what happens when you fly internationally.

I have always associated airports with fun, exciting, and new things. Airports mean that I or someone that I love is or has been traveling and I/they have new stories to tell. In the past, when I have seen people crying in the airport, it has confused me because why would they be crying when they are about to embark on a new journey or have just come back from a trip. I have now been on the opposite side of that and have answered my own question.

While leaving for Greece is one of the most exciting things that I’ve done in my life, it is also nerve-wrecking. Saying goodbye (or see you later) to all the people that I love for five months is a lot. So to everyone that has supported me in any way along this journey, thank you and I love you. Your endless support and love will stay with me throughout the next five months.

So here I go, off to Athens! Stay tuned here to follow more of my adventures!
