I read this yesterday and I was going to comment but I hesitated because I had such mixed feeling about this man. He is far less than perfect, kind of a sap actually. The get rich quick schemes, the booze the commendation from the wife. Not a sterling endorsement. But yet he is adored by his loving daughter. Why? I failed to read between the lines, the essence of the story. It is not so much a tribute as tale of love. He is flawed but who isn’t,but he has a pure heart. I was touched by this story because it is a story of love, pure and simple.
