My first walk into the office

Survival in this world is only possible when you have something in your hand, it can be either some business or job. You can be an entrepreneur or a job holder. A fresh graduate often looks for a job most of the times and this time it was my turn.
I dropped my resume in one of the pet care center and showed my interest towards veterinary practice. I was shortly contacted by a senior member of that center and he scheduled my interview.
On the day of interview, I was there on time and was dressed like a professional and carrying my Resume and Cover letter along with me. I entered the room and sat on the chair. The environment was quite relaxing and comfortable. I had a smile on my face. Now, the first question from their side, Introduce yourself? As I was prepared I delivered my elevator pitch and it was my first impression on them.
Next question they asked why our center, I told them about their recent work, their client ratio and the most important thing their dealing with the clients. Than they asked me why they should hire me, I told them about my recent studies and experience in field via internships. Moreover, I added my skills and strengths stories in response to their questions. I quantified my achievements and my experience with different organizations of the university.
Overall it was a good experience for me, they told me that I was good at most of the part and specially confidence and body language. They gave me feedback to improve certain parts and be more accurate.
The key thing they told me was to be genuine in your talk and behaviour, don’t try to be fake or make bluff. Your originality will surely reward you one day.
