Road to kindness

Human beings; the most intellectual organisms on this planet, but what is the purpose behind this? Why we are the chosen one? The answer to this question might not be guessed by most of the people but it is the most simple one, Our purpose on this land is to help others.
Be kind to others, kindness is always appreciated and acknowledged. Being a muslim we are taught to help others and show kindness to others.

Talking about our personal lives how many times we have helped others or showed kindness to our fellows, colleagues or any stranger? Most of us are now scratching our heads and try to memorise such incidents but the fact is that we don’t have much in our minds because we didn’t performed much act of kindness that we can recall them.
I decided to try this, show kindness to others and then see what happens. In last 24 hours I had gone through a number of situations.
1: Last night a friend of mine made a phone call to me and told me about his ill health, he was living in the next hostel. I went there and then took him to the hospital and we had his check up there and got medication, while we was returning he said to me that I am feeling much relaxed now and really thankful to you. At that moment I felt satisfied.
2: Taking into account another situation I went to market with one of my hostel fellow. He asked me that if I could take him out as he has to buy somethings from the market. I said surely, we went out, he bought his things and we were back in 2 hours, I spent 2 hours with him and during all that time he was smiling and happy that someone payed importance to him and was following him.
3: I had an shirt which was not according to my fit, It was hanging in my rack from a long time, I gave that to one of the sweeper of my hostel. He was really delighted to get that and now whenever I pass by his side he immediately say salam to me and a smile appears on his face. He felt special that somebody was thinking about him.

4: Today we met with a strange case in our clinic, a women bought his goat to the clinic, she was poor and she even didn’t had the fee for the slip. We payed for his slip from our pocket and then gave complete treatment to his animal. At the end she was giving prayers to us and was thanking us.
5: Last night, a friend came to me, he wanted to go to the tour in the morning but his shirts were all gone out for cleaning. He asked me If I could help him or not, I replied with yes and gave him one of my shirt so that he could enjoy his tour with full zeast.
By featuring all these stories, I just found one thing that you can give happiness to people by just small deeds, you don’t have to go many great things to feel them special. Sometimes just a smile can play the part which a million rupees can’t. If you want to be loved and respected then follow the path of kindness, It’s a simple road leading to a beautiful destination making great memories on the way.
