In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. 2 Corinthians 8:2
A happy heart makes the face cheerful,
but heartache crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:13

I wanna talk about JOY! This past weekend I was challenged to rejoice in the Lord! Personally, I`m still challenged writing this text. I found out that joy it is not a feeling but a choice. It comes when you chose to look with the correct eyes over your current situation, and when you decide to live according you identity in Christ and not according to what people think about you. Be grateful is a great source of joy as well!

Today, identify the thieves of joy in your life! Is it a circumstance, a person, a fear, a wrong understanding of who God created you to be, lack of love and acceptance? Do not let it steal the gift of joy. Nothing has authority to do that!

  1. Identify the thieves of joy
  2. Cast them out by the Word of God
  3. Let the love of God fill your heart
  4. Hold your true identity in Christ

We have a future and hope! Let`s rejoice in the Lord!
