As I decided to engage in UX research while I’m in my backpacking trip to Xin-Jiang, something came into my mind, witch I still keep it, and will insist.

“The deepest understanding is empathy.” A concept came from a communication skill book named “Difficult Conversations” tells the whole story about the core value of UX research.

For long time, many people tend to see UX as a design tool for digit content or 3C products. But it should be much more.

For long time, welfare specialist bring themselves to the bottom of society, uncover the problem and trying to figure out some solution to help people. For long time, Nordic architects design their master piece only after figuring out the balance between human and environment. And for long time, war correspondents dedicate their life just for bringing the reality to public.

I have absolute respect for their cause, and pursue their belief as my faith in my career.

Understanding the user for everything, whether it is a 3C product, a service or anything possible I can do.

That is the promise to myself.
