Those responses to your remarks are more than enough to give you an idea of how much you ignore. It will take you virtually a lifetime you get minimally acquainted with the complexities of this U.S.-Puerto Rico “relationship” thing. So, try a leap of faith and believe me when I tell you that you are on the wrong here. But it’s ok. You share that obliviousness with 99.9 percent of your fellow Americans. Plus, it’s a human thing to be a bullying empire (is there another kind?) and to pretend to be loved too. What Puerto Ricans need to do, as I just wrote in response to the article you pretended to belittle, is to reconcile ourselves with our essence: We are a nation originated in a tiny Caribbean island. We will never be powerful; but that spares us the burden and shame of being bullies. Peace.
