Thank you Sandy!
There is some great information in this article. I want to always remember to be the best listener I can be. I know how I feel when I can tell someone is distracted/uninterested in our interaction. It’s as if they are waiting for something/someone better to come along! Gratefully it’s only happened a couple of times but I don’t want to do that to someone!
I liked the reminder that people will always remember how you made them feel. I think we attach those initial feelings to the person and think of them as ‘happy’, ‘sad’, ‘angry' or ‘unpleasant’. How they come across and how we perceive them also gets attached to them so quickly and that lasts too!
I have never given much thought to what my first impression is although I am pretty conscious about how I present myself (dress, attitude, etc). I would be curious to know what people really think…maybe!
Good stuff Sandy! Thanks again.
Jamie
