Welcome to Medium Pashto. We rarely see Blogs and posts of Pashto poetry, Pashto ghazal, Pashto tapy, Pashto nazam, Pashto nasar and Pashto stories in Pashto text writing, since there is a very little content of Pashto in Pashto writing on the internet. Therefore, I have decided to start a complete collection of Pashto adab writings here from medium in Pashto language.

I have started today with my post number 1 on Pashto adab. In this post, I am going to share with you, Pashto ghazal in Pashto text writing which is taken form Takal (تکل) book of Sahib shah Sabir (صاحب شاه صابر) — The famous Pashto language poet. This is the very first ghazal of his Takal (تکل) book, I hope you will enjoy it.

څه مې دَ خوږ زړه درزا څه مې دَ زخمونو څړيکې
دَ بې وسۍ په در کښې ژاړم دَ دردونو څړيکې

چې پريکولې یې دَ ګلو دَ غونچو نه ژبې
اوس خو به اوري دَ وږمو دَ پرهرونو څړيکې

چرې به تندر خو دَ ظلم په ماڼو پرېوزي
دَ چا زړه چاودي اسوېلي دَ چا دَ زړونو څړيکې

په ژوند دَ حُسن دَ سپرلي دَ راتلو زیرے کوي
دَ ماښامونو زړه چاودون دَ سحرونو سړیکې

دَ محلونو په مَړه خندا کې پټه نه شوه
دَ وږو تږو دَ تنکو تنکو ویرونو څړيکې

لرې به نه وي چې اوده زړونه راولړزوي
په دې دردونو کې راغونډې دَ عمرونو څړیکې

دَ نیمې شپې دَ خاموشۍ دَ سر غرور ماتوي
دَ انتظار دَ شوګیرو ځپلي زړونو څړيکې
