After the assassination of his grandmother Indira Gandhi, He was home schooled with his sister Priyanka Gandhi. The childhood was spent under lots of security. By the time he managed to recover from the shock of his grandmother’s death, his father Rajeev Gandhi was assassinated leaving the entire family in great shock. His college education was completely ruined by this event yet he gathers up his courage and went to United States to complete his graduation.
