Brothels

Prostitution in Asansol, West Bengal is present in different forms. Prostitution may be brothel-based or non-brothel based as in the case of call girls. Prostitution is legal in India. A Place name as Lacchipur Gate near Neamatpur is famous for Prostitution. People often regard this place as very bad but please do think of those innocent girls who are Human trafficked every other day forced to sell by their parents in the pressure of money. In the era of Tik- Tok, It’s better paedophiles going to brothel rather than girls getting raped and murdered every other day. Imagine how miserable life they would be facing. Blessed we are, what we have. So, be Happy!

9- Asansol District Hospital

Asansol District Hospital

Asansol district hospital also known as SD hospital is one of the famous Districts government Hospital. Though health facilities are the least we can expect from Bengal but still, we can get checkups at a very less price costing Rs20. Dogs Bite and treatments are charged at a very nominal price. Even they have good general physicians and doctors. Dr Indrajit Mahanta is one of them.

10- Roads & Highway

You might have read on your books that once Sher Shah Suri built the longest road now a national highway(old NH1) named as Grand Trunk Road also known as GT Road from Howrah to Pakistan crossing all the major cities and states including Asansol.

The National Highway that is passing from Asansol used to know as NH1 before, then NH19 and now as Asian Highway or AH1.

“Asian Highway 1 is the longest route of the Asian Highway Network running 20,557 km starting from Tokyo in Japan running through South Korea- North Korea- China- Hong Kong- Vietnam- Cambodia- Thailand- Myanmar where it joins the network of Indian National Highways.”

So the next time you travel through these National Highways keep a lookout for boards that are marked AH 1 as you would be driving on a 20,557 km stretch of road that can take you places. So, the air is not the only medium you can use to travel around the world anymore. We’d suggest you keep that passport handy!
