I fail to understand the 62 bn dollar valuation. Uber clearly has very shady business practices, pricing being just one of them. When surge pricing was being criticized severely, they turned to removing the word from the app, and giving estimated fares based on routes chosen arbitrarily.

Would the customers continue to use Uber, once they get rid of the discounts and freebies, and willingly continue to be fleeced by Uber?
