#SaveTCSLucknow campaign gets massive support from Lucknow Locals

Sunday, 23rd July 2017: It was 6:30 am in the morning and GATE № 2 at Lohia Park, Lucknow was more crowded then the regular days. You could see people from all age groups carrying placards, holding banners with signatures on it. They were people from all walks of life showing their solidarity with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Lucknow employees and their families and #SaveTCSLucknow.

Tata Consultancy Services has decided to shut down its 33 Years old office in Lucknow and move to Noida, Indore and and Pune to consolidate its operations. The company’s move is set to put the jobs of more than 2,000 IT professionals, working at the TCS Lucknow centre, in jeopardy.
For the sake of these 2000 employees and Lucknow, their family members and GOMTI CONNECT initiated a signature campaign #SaveTCSLucknow. This march was led by Dr Anuj Singh, a city based entrepreneur and philanthropist.
