Railight Development Update #week1

Good afternoon! Welcome to our first weekly development update! Every other Monday 9 AM UTC we will be posting an overview of the progress we’ve made over the last week.

Last week we had our ‘stealth’ launch on BitcoinTalk here is the ann. The concept was received fairly well, though many people didn’t read the whitepaper to understand more broadly what we are trying to achieve. That was our mistake maybe we didn t convey the most user-friendly ann so we will edit it.

Marketing

We want to ship an MVP as soon as possible but for that we need a bigger team, and a more consistent community to spread the word about the project. Our call to action remains unheard by the community, so the last week we worked on a marketing campaign for RaiLight. In the upcoming days we will update the website and it will feature a presentation video the team and hopefully some news about a partnership we are working on. Discord, Facebook and Twitter were set up as well.

Team

A new member Shifty252 joined the team. As a background he is a diligent QA Tester with more than 10 years of experience testing Web-based applications. Proficient in test strategy implementation test plan development test execution and bug tracking. Specialize in test development scheduling execution and test project management.

Development

We are going forward with our initial implementation of browser peer to peer communication. Specifically this week we implemented the signalling component that facilitates peer to peer discovery.
