Were you born to be just another Brick in the damn Wall?
The never-ending desires that are so inherently stuffed inside of the human race, have reduced us to fireflies swirling in between chaos and have drained us of all our peace. It isn’t really possible to attain the peace of mind, while chasing these endless dreams, which as it happens to be, we didn’t even see ourselves. No matter where we get to, in this rat-race, no matter what we achieve, we will still be goddamn rats.
The more we possess, the more difficult it gets for us to be carefree. Maybe we’d just have to be a nomad to truly be at peace. Accumulating possessions would just make us cling to this materialistic world more and more. The materialism may give us the passive rush for a moment or so, but it would never help us enjoy the thrill of being lost. It would just corrupt us and entrench us from experiencing that triumphant ecstasy that is there in being sheerly carefree (possible even without the pill).
Becoming too habitual of something might turn you into some overly hesitant and lunatic person, sorta people who just curtail themselves from trying anything new. This way, one might never even be exposed to the crazy, wild, mind-boggling side of this world. Sometimes you have to go off the track to be able to see the hidden beauty of things. If you are just too much into following the known routes and courses, maybe you have become lifeless — you are surviving, but not living- you are doing it, but not experiencing it — or maybe your dull mind has given up to the dark sarcasm in the classroom. Do you think you were born to become just another brick in the wall? You sure have become just another brick in the wall, if you just plagiarise the lifestyle enacted by the authorities or dropped on you by your parents. When was the last time you stopped in the middle of something and gave your almost dead soul, the wings of curiosity and questioned yourself what in this world ever became of sweet Jane, that bird who dared not to see her dreams?
The life of an average human, in today’s world, has just been limited to the trivialities of everyday existence. This is curbing such people from ever discovering their blooming-selves and ever be able to shine like those crazy diamonds.
People waste massive quantities of money and a tremendous amount of time on materialistic possessions, chasing desires, or just maintaining the old rustic rituals. They follow those delusioners who call themselves all-knowers, they chant songs of the birthless written by the lazy, they long for artificial accommodation in others’ stupendous (but still others’) lives. They sail around and around, but they don’t realize that instead of all this meaningless hassle, they can just dive in, dive into themselves and see a different reality.
