Love was immense, love was painful,
Love was distant, but I had to be faithful!
It lulled me to sleep and woke me to ace,
T’was the only thing that could put that smile on my face!
Money, wealth, status, acquired one after one,
Only to realise that it all tot up to none!
My hands and my feet and my soul were tied,
Oh! How I strangled and stopped and cried!
Living still in the hope that there will come a day,
Punting every other obstacle out of my way,
I will answer the calling and head for the heights,
Where I would find my place in the Himalayan mights!
