How will Undertaker’s HOF induction go down?

The undertaker is a man of a few words who is undoubtedly the most respected name in all of professional wrestling. His old school mentality makes him one of the only characters that keeps kayfabe alive and leaves fans unsure of how The Phenom will deliver his much anticipated Hall of Fame speech.

Before even getting to the speech, there needs to be someone to induct the man. A number of people come to mind, but who truly deserves the honour? Perhaps his half-brother Kane, who together with the Undertaker formed “The Brothers of Destruction” and had many great rivalries and matches with him over the years. Or maybe the honour should go to the man who ‘Taker had jaw dropping matches with such as HBK. Triple H, Mick Foley, hell, even Brock Lesnar’s name has come up in Reddit threads, but theres no one who I believe is more worthy than Vince McMahon himself.

The man who created the gimmick, has never inducted anyone into the Hall himself, and it makes sense that The Undertaker should be his first — and possibly only — induction.

Moving on to how the Deadman’s speech will be handled.

After chatting with friends and reading some opinions of the internet wrestling community, many fans have different scenarios of how the Undertaker will take the stage at the Hall of Fame when his time comes.

Some fans believe ‘Taker will enter to his dark and demonic theme song only to drop down to one knee and thank the entire WWE Universe, and of course, Vince McMahon, in the best way he possibly could with the entire audience on their feet paying their respects to the Deadman and then leave.

While others believe he will actually deliver a speech. It’s not too uncommon to see The Undertaker get on the mic, but what is uncommon however, is seeing The Undertaker out of character. It doesn’t happen much, especially not when anywhere around the wrestling ring, but seeing The Phenom take off his lengthy coat and a hat I can only identify as “Undertaker’s hat” and face the WWE Universe as Mark Calaway will be a sight that no one has ever seen before.

I think he will definitely deliver a speech. At the end of his Wrestlemania match with Roman Reigns *insert boos here* ‘Taker was seen going to his wife, Michelle McCool and giving her a kiss, perhaps the closest he has come to breaking kayfabe as part of the Deadman persona.

Undertaker’s signature hat, coat, and gloves inside the ring at Wrestlemania to signify his retirement.

It will be a fantastic way to end quite possibly the greatest career in professional wrestling history, getting to know the man who played The Undertaker, and what it took to be in that role for all those years. Though in his career The Undertaker had many names, The Deadman, The Legend, The Phenom, The American Badass, The Demon from Deathvalley, he will always be remembered as a wrestler who did nothing but serve the fans with greatness every time he stepped into the squared circle.

Never has there been anyone to complain about The Undertaker’s in-ring ability, or never has there been anybody stupid enough to be bored of his irreplaceable gimmick. Instead, everybody gathered together and were captivated by the amazing work of art The Undertaker produced every night; starting from the loud “gong” you would hear, to the thick smoke which formed on the ramp, to the blazing inferno balls forming while making his way down the aisle, all the way to taking off his signature coat and “Undertaker hat”.

Needless to say, the induction of The Undertaker will go down as a monumental moment in the history of WWE and will be handled with perfection by all WWE executives with Vince McMahon in the forefront to ensure it all goes down without a hitch. It will with out a doubt be an unmissable WWE moment.
