Travelling is such an amazing hobby and when it comes to explore new things then it is seriously amazing. I have visited many places however, i really liked Ranthambore in Rajasthan. Being a photographer I love to capture the natural beauty and wildlife and so the reason that this place grabs my mind totally. It is one of the most renowned National Parks in Northern India which is located in the Sawaimadhopur District of South-eastern Rajasthan.
The most important reason that I got attracted so much by this place is being its major wildlife tourism attraction spot. This park is a home of wide variety of Indian leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, striped hyena, sloth bear, southern plains gray langur, rhesus macaque, mugger crocodile and chital. The park is surrounded by two sanctuaries- Mansingh sanctuary and Kaila Devi sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles, as well as one of the largest banyan trees in India. Ranthambore is the best paradigm of natural beauty and wildlife itself. There is a lake named Padam Talao which the largest of many lakes situated in Ranthambore. A red sandstone Jogi Mahal can be found at the edge of the lake. A gigantic banyan tree, considered to be India’s second largest, is also near the lake. Apart from its wildlife, I cannot stop myself before utter a word regarding the Ranthambore Fort. It is such an amazing majestic fort which exemplifies our historical moments. This fort was built in 10th century and in 2013 at the 37th session of World Heritage Committee, this fort was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Sight under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan. You should take a ride of all these sanctuaries once.
In Ranthambore, rides are carried out at 6:30 and 14:30. Each ride lasts for about three hours. There are two options of vehicles for the safari: 20 seater open top canter or 6 seater open top gypsy. Each ride costs around INR 900–1400 per person. The core park area has been divided into several zones and the safari vehicles go to one of those zones. Visitors often take multiple tours, as tiger spotting is rare.
