How to Stream a Video Conference Live on YouTube

Step 1 Linking your YouTube Account to your HTML0

Allow Live streaming

  • Log into your YouTube account on YouTube.
  • On your computer’s desktop Click the icon for video at the top of your account. Select “Go live.”
  • If you’re not yet setting up a YouTube account in order to Livestream then click “Stream” and fill out the necessary information for your channel.
  • The page will appear as shown below. Copy the stream key along with the stream URL.

Upload the YouTube streaming information into your YouTube account.

  • In Settings, select Recording > Live Streaming and Live Streaming > Turn On
  • Copy in your streaming key as well as share URL and save.
  • If you want to capture all meetings however, you don’t want to stream ALL meetings, remember that you must stop recording and then restart it in order to stream live from the meeting room online.

Step 2 • Send your live stream link with your viewers

  • www.youtube.com/user/[channelname]/live
  • Please provide the link above along by indicating the “channel name.”
  • Recommendation: Include it in your invitations, and recommend it as an alternative to “overflow” if you are anticipating that you will over the maximum number of 100 people.

STEP 3 LIVE-STREAM

I) Auto LIVE-STREAM

  • Create an online Meeting by accessing your account’s dashboard.
  • Auto live stream: If you have turned on “auto-start” within your YouTube account and “automatically live stream” in your conference account, when an additional participant joins with their audio in and recording has started, live streaming will automatically begin. This can be verified in the account settings of your YouTube account.

II) Manual LIVE-STREAM

  • Hit on the “Record” icon in the upper toolbar.
  • Choose “Record Video.”
  • Select in the field “Live Stream Video.” (NOTE It will only be displayed after you have registered your YouTube credentials (as that you entered in step 1.)
  • Select “Start recording.”
  • Go to your YouTube account and click Create > Go Live.
  • Create a brand new live stream, or launch the stream in a planned manner (ensure that the key for streaming is the same as that entered earlier on your conference login).
  • Hit”GO LIVE” in the blue “GO LIVE” button. This will initiate the live stream through the YouTube Channel. YouTube Channel.

Engage the Audience

If it’s a conference, an online meeting or live series, seminar or another format engaging your audience is crucial.

Be aware that people can jump between different sections of the live video conference. Give a brief recap, or, if there are guests speaking, share their name and their specialization.

Make sure that viewers complete the journey to the very end. Make an announcement that will keep viewers watching from beginning to the end. Make sure to keep the special announcement newsworthy or some important information for the end.

Utilize Chat with Text Chat and Live Chat to talk to people with each other and ask questions, or get clarity.
