Vivo Xplay5 Elite With 6GB of RAM And Xpaly5 with 4GB RAM

The Chinese company Vivo has launched world first 6GB RAM smartphone. The 6GB RAM smartphone is named as Vivo Xplay5 Elite. Vivo also launched another affordable version called the Vivo Xplay5 featuring 4GB of RAM, at the same event in China.

The Vivo Xplay5 Elite comes with dual-SIM and is made of metal with Gorilla Glass 4 coating body. It houses 128GB of non-expandable inbuilt storage, measures 153.5×76.2×7.59mm, and weighs 167.8 grams.

Both version of phone features dual curved 5.43-inch Super Amoled display with QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution like samsung galaxy S6 edge and both handsets have split-screen multitasking functionality. It is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.15GHz, paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.

Smartphones running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Funtouch OS 2.6 skin on top.

The Vivo Xplay5 Elite features a 16-megapixel main rear camera powered by Sony IMX298 sensor who supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 6P Lens, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The secondary front camera houses an 8-megapixel.

The Xplay5 Elite supports 4G LTE networks, Hi-Fi 3.0 (2*ES9028+OPA1612), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Micro-USB (with OTG). This smartphones powered by a 3600mAh battery.

The Xplay5 Elite enabled with a fingerprint sensor which is located at back side of the phone. The device comes with gravity sensors, ambient light, proximity, and gyroscope.

The smartphone will hit the stores in China on March 8 and will come with a price tag of CNY 4,288.

The other verison Vivo Xplay5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with its Funtouch OS 2.5.1 skin on top. Phone features like dual curved QHD display, camera, battery, connectivity, and inbuilt storage same as Xplay5 Elite.

This version is different from elite in a less powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, 4GB RAM, Adreno 510 GPU and Hi-Fi chip CS4395+AD45257. The dimesion of lower version is 153.5X76.2X7.59mm and weighs 167.8 grams.

The Xplay5 supports fingerprint senso and powered by a 3600mAh battery same as Vivo xplay elite. It will be priced at CNY 3,698.
