That’s a great conversation starter on the Maker revive movement .. We too are

working on expanding the Maker vocabulary beyond the current assumed limits to include not just mew entrants to crafts but also the world’s existing makers : the traditional artisans and craftsmen, weavers and potters … there are millions of Makers around the world left out site the technology centric movement, while both can inform and evolve a new ecosystem for innovation and consumption … and these maker communities have more than 1000 years of unbroken evolution processes built within their knowledge systems that’s being tested today for survival capabilities … i feel the Maker movement can get a tremendous boost if it was to successfully integrate all makers in its fold.
