Forests dissolve Depression

Depression is devastating and many of us don’t realise we are walking and waking with it. Like so many dis-eases, the elements of walking in nature especially nature that is outside the city and connecting with good company (these can be a social meetup group or existing friends) are very beneficial. Too much of a good thing can be deadly, especially if that good thing happens to be our own company, on our own, for extended periods of time, whilst juggling conflicting commitments. Aside from minimising (preferably eliminating) electronic activity which exacerbates excessive mental activity, the key is connecting with real people. It’s amazing how a cup of tea (or preferred beverage) in good company warms the heart and lightens the (mental) load.
