Happy to know this, I haven’t seen a world war or political emergency and I guess my daughter wont either. However, I wonder about other kind of deaths, like guns or drugs or cancer or number of animals and forest cover , I would love to see graphs for these… I am sure they will show an upward curve since industrialization. My daughter won’t live to see even one third species of animals and plants I could live to see. I just think we have newer ways to kill stuff in our planet.

Those days kings had to conquer and fight and then wars were natural too later but industrialization has changed even politicians and all of our energy into materialism — money, money and more money. Now currency is not might its money. This has prevented war in some sense as we study hard, work hard and then fall prey more to industrial revolution. It would be good to get a holistic picture.
