A basket of hearty breakfasts

Breakfasts are supposed to be the most important meal of the day. It is also the meal which has the maximum potential for creativity. As an early bite, or combined with lunch to become brunch, breakfast has been cherished in all forms. A meal that became a sign of punctuality and elite flavour, breakfasts are nowadays a huge part of one’s days.

The way one has their breakfast, where they have it, and what it constitutes — everything is important when it comes to forming impressions. Even the lucrative market of the hospitality sector has dug into this logic as they have now come up with complimentary breakfasts with a night’s stay. The complimentary meal always involves a huge spread — in terms of food items and quality, and is a delight for all visitors.

Hence, it is only justified to put together different types of breakfasts!
1. Eclectic English
The most popular, it is the king of all breakfasts. Complete with baked beans, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, hash browns and toast, it is best eaten with a cup of tea to knock it all back. The black pudding which is a must with the breakfast is not my most favourite, but then, to each his own!
2. Amazing American
An American fantasy of a breakfast will always include Eggs Benedict, eggs and cheese sandwich along with a beautiful brunch quiche to go with the whole spread. Pancakes and breakfast muffins are always a cherry on the top.
3. Irish Basket
A basket of Irish love is always filled with fried or scrambled eggs, soda bread, potato bread, fried tomatoes, pork sausages and bacon. To wash it all down, a glass of orange or apple juice, followed by Irish tea, works best!
4. Israeli Love
With freshness and vivid colours, Israeli breakfast wins the hearts of many when it comes to good taste and quality products. Fresh bread, with a variety of hard and soft cheese, along with juices, olives, jam and butter are all regulars on the Israeli breakfast plate.
5. Polish Panic
Also known as Jajecznica, a traditional Polish breakfast usually includes scrambled eggs covered with slices of custom-made kielbasa along with potato pancakes thrown in. Interesting to look at, this breakfast is a world apart from all the rest of the breakfasts as they use the same components, but with a twist.
6. Moroccan Mania
This spread usually consists of different breads with some chutney, jam, cheese or butter. A delicious crumpet-style bread in huge slabs help to smoothen the palette along with a semolina pancake bread called Baghir.
7. Swedish Story
The perfect Swedish story involves a Swedish pancake, known as Pannkakor. A thin flat cake made from batter and fried on both sides, much like a crepe, it is usually served with a sweet, fruity filling.
8. Dollop of Denmark
On a Dane’s plate you will find rye bed for sure. Along with that exist cheese, salami, ham, pate, honey, jam and sometimes, even sheets of chocolate. Isn’t that the most perfect breakfast?
9. French Flurry
Ah, how I love le croissant! Packed with crushed almonds, butter, chocolate or cream, they always taste sumptuous!
10. Incredible india
After tasting all breakfasts of the world, the heart comes back to India. Whether it is the Gujarati hit, Methi Ka Thepla, the traditional Maharashtrian Misal Pav, the Parsi Sali Par Edu, to the South Indian uttapam, India has an array of breakfasts to offer.

The best restaurants in Bangalore, the likes of Smokehouse Deli, offer breakfasts in the nicest and the most vibrant way anyone can ever imagine!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
