Although there is still a good time for Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S11, to launch a series of rumors, leaks, and information. If true, it seems that with this new high-end phone, the South Korean company wants to break with all the previous molds and create something very different and that goes beyond a simple update. Therefore, below we offer all the information, leaks and rumors that are known about the Samsung Galaxy S11.

Recently, a series of leaks claimed that Samsung was working on a new device with the model number SM-G770F, and it was speculated that it could be the Galaxy S10 Lite or the Galaxy S11 Lite. Now, more is known about the specifications, and they are quite impressive

SamMobile reports that, according to Geekbench, the phone has a Snapdragon 855 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The first is the same chipset used by the Galaxy S10 range in the United States, while the second would mean more RAM than the base version of the Samsung Galaxy S10e.

In addition, you can see that this phone will have Android 10, and reaches test results (benchmarks) that align it with the rest of the Galaxy S10 line, even putting it in the range of the Galaxy Note 10.

Samsung has taken advantage of its Tech Day 2019 to offer some details, especially internal, of what we can see in its new flagship phones, that is, the new Galaxy S11 that will arrive in 2020.

Specifically, the South Korean firm has given a preview of the new Exynos 5123 (5G) modem and the Exynos 990 processor that will be found in its Galaxy S line next year.

As expected, both the modem and the processor will make the company’s smartphones more powerful and offer better quality.

Reportedly, his code name is “Picasso”, a very Spanish and very international name while we associate with the creativity and genius of the Malaga painter.

As for the official name, what we can expect is to be called Galaxy S11, although after the words of Wong Jeong, Samsung’s global market director, it is not so clear that it is so. Moreover, it has been rumored, even, in the possibility of removing Galaxy from the official name of the next Samsung phone, but it is better to take these rumors with great caution.

The tipster Evan Blass, who has an extremely solid, but not infallible, record when it comes to products not yet announced, says Samsung is preparing to use the new battery technology at the end of next year, or early 2021 or more delay. If this is correct, it means that it could reach the Galaxy S11, but the most likely candidate to be equipped with a graphene battery cell will be Galaxy S12.

Blass wrote on his official Twitter account: “Lithium-ion batteries are suboptimal. Samsung expects to have at least one phone next year or in 2021, they told me, that instead, it will have a graphene battery, capable of a full charge in less than half an hour, but they still need to increase capacities and reduce costs “

Another rumor that has leaked through an Ice Universe tweet is that “the camera has a substantial improvement”, but without specifying anything. This is something predictable that we already imagined because the battle of high-end phones is fought in the camera. Will we see a periscope zoom? Or a more powerful night mode? Who knows!

The Galaxy S11 would arrive with the latest version of Google’s operating system, Android Q, and the customization layer redesigned this year by Samsung One UI 2.x, something that the SamMobile site already takes for granted. This means introducing, for example, all the improvements related to the digital welfare of Android Q.

Although the tendency now is to clear the notch or notch screen, if the published thing is true, the Galaxy S11 would not add to it. “The hole in the screen is smaller than that of the Note 10,” he says, which means that it will continue on the line followed so far and will not have a pop-up camera, which is already the Galaxy A80.

When will the Samsung Galaxy S11 arrive? Of course, it is expected to arrive next year, but if we can specify a little more, everything indicates that it could be between February and March 2020. The company has presented its previous S models on those dates, which seems to be a good indicator. If so, one of the possibilities would be at the MWC in Barcelona and even before, as it already did with the S10. But it could also be a little after MWC, as happened with the Galaxy S8. We will keep you informed.
