Interesting blog Ralph, so basically the bottom line is we need someone with a bigger blanket !!

Ha ha! Probably not. The blanket is dictated by people having mutually incompatible views. There are 65 million of us here and we often think pretty different things.

My view is having a system of democracy that allows you to vote for what you believe in and have that represented in Parliament. Works for most of the Democratic world.

If we had PR there would probably be a stratification of parties but I think that would be a good thing.

Until we do get it though Labour will have to be a coalition of somtimes radically different strains of “progressive thought”. Maintaining the coalition in a way that can win elections is a very difficult balance. As demonstrated by how there have only ever been 5 stable majority Labour Government (And three of those were under Blair).

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
