In this blog, I’ll share my tips and tricks on how I managed to pass the exam in less than a month. I know it’s not as glamorous as finishing in two weeks like many YouTubers claim. I passed my exam in Dec 2023 having procrastinated for over 8 months. I passed the AWS Practitioner exam about a year ago, but I didn’t take advantage of that momentum due to some external commitments. I honestly believed that I could never find the perfect time to take this exam. Being a junior in a tech role from a non-tech background meant you’re always learning and updating your knowledge every day on top of working on the actual job. Certifications are one of the best ways to level up. It requires a high level of discipline and willpower to study every day after work and around work. Hence, I am writing this article to provide you with a comprehensive guide on the resources and tips needed to pass this exam in the shortest time possible.

Regrettably, I wish I had read this document earlier. I only got around to it about four days before the exam, and it provided a good indication of what I should be focusing on. Nevertheless, I think it’s still possible to pass the exam without ever looking at this guide, considering the study resources I used below.
