“I” (or “self”) is symbolised by an image of an eye. The big Eye (“Self”) that encompasses all is the Absolute Truth — Supreme Personality of Godhead. Little white eyes (“self”) represents the jivatmas — sparks of the Godhead. Within the Absolute Truth there are various intimacies that jivatmas can have with the energies of the Godhead — blue corresponds to the spiritual world of forms and pastimes (Vaikuntha), green is the impersonal effulgence (Brahmajyoti), and brown is the dream/virtual-like realm of matter (Mahat-tattva).
Experiencing and craving, That’s what I do, Trying to be someone, For-getting You,
Looking around, Here and there, Playing as human, Even as hare,
One day I’ll desire, To be free, Seeking peace, In the Brahmajyoti,
But I’ll get bored, Of being “all one,” Take birth again, Sucking my thumb,
Tired of pretense, Seeking true joy, Finally I’ll pray, Where’s the blue boy?
