A full-time Businessman with an exciting journey- Ranvir Shah, put in constant efforts for each of its child companies, may it be Indian Agro Exports, Shanta Ayurveda Hospital, Mangala Heritage Home or P S Exports, to reach the top and make a mark. Building organizations and communities that hold and enrich values, is a trademark for Ranvir Shah. Based out of Chennai, Ranvir Shah has built many businesses which support thousands of workers.

P S Exports and Consolidates started in the 1970s, by Ranjit P Shah, to meet the demand of concocted men’s shirts in the American Markets. The company started with a few people manufacturing clothes on the pedal loom in Chennai, in a small room with a thatched roof. The factory started in 1981, with close about 100 people, and soon set up their company office in New York as well, in 1984, advancing higher targets.

Ranvir Shah took the reins of the family company in 2000 and has worked towards creating an experience for everyone ever since. He nurtured and nourished the brand, to develop and increase communication and spread the heritage and values by offering exemplary service and quality. His philosophy extracts culture and forms a group of core values. Ranvir Shah shares this integrity and honesty with all its customers and employees. Being available to its employees, helping them work through the scuffles is one of the biggest charms of Shah. He says, “Tapestry of P S Apparels has been woven by the artisans. I am merely an instrument.” He encourages his team to immerse themselves in the art and bring out the warmth in the products.

P S Exports

P S Exports serves quality handcrafted products. Its designs are created and picked from the archives in their head office, in Kelambakkam and also the New York Office. PSA when started, had a power of about 100 people and now it is a family of 1300+ people. Shah has worked immensely on getting newer technologies to ease the process and take the standard up a notch. Today, their factories have a combined strength of more than 1000 machines that produce about 1.2 million garment made-ups per year. The process of production finely looks into every detail and aims at laying out products that are true to the values Shah embodies. The finishing techniques use washing the fabric. More than 130,000 garments are washed in the factory each month and, it is ensured that all sewage disposal and treatment plants are socially compliant and environment-friendly. There are different machines used that are carefully picked according to the requirement. The weaving is done through automated looms and machines that can sew up to 400 meters each day. There are automated cone winding machines for yarn winding. These machines make it effortless for the employees. Shah believes in providing the same values P S Exports upheld when it started and so, he works each day towards maintaining and restoring these core values.

Ever since its inception, P S Exports supplied Men’s shirts. Now it has a quality range of menswear, womenswear and children’s wear. From the pedal loom and in-house laundry facility back in the ’70s, PSA has come a long way and shifted to large machines and washing plants that offer International quality service and one of a kind manufacturing.

Ranvir Shah emphasises on creating experiences, not only for its customers but also for its team by supporting and integrating values in the functioning of the company. By making informed awareness of the newer technologies, Shah has basked PSA into glory.

The Family Business has taken shape of a success owing to the hard work of the P S Exports team, headed by Ranvir Shah.
