I'm not sure about Twitter's monetization future, though, and that's a live-or-die situation. I haven't met one single company that invest on Twitter ads more than 10%/20% of what they invest on Facebook ads. Of course, that's a small sample, and a biased one, but I think it's one of Twitter's biggest issues.
Facebook's endless ways of segmenting ads is a serious threat to any other player in the social networks game. And we don't even mention Instagram or WhatsApp, two other nails for many coffins to come.
