Have you ever thought of finding the balance between what you really love and what you’re actually doing? Well, it is not that easy or to be more accurate, it is not that doable unless you have faith in what you love, in yourself ,and you have the courage to live to your potential and give yourself the right chance to find that medium which will give you fulfillment. In other words, the key word here is fulfillment.
From my experience as someone suffering the same, let me tell you how I managed to find a new way which will hopefully put me on the fulfillment direction and will keep me satisfied as a human being.
First, I do not think balance is the right approach for someone to feel satisfied. As I said, fulfillment is the key and in my opinion, the idea of stalling your dreams and desires just because you are not finding the balance or the equilibrium you are thinking of, is wrong and frustrating.
Fulfillment requires sacrifices, not necessarily big ones. Just sacrifices to give you the chance to sit with yourself and find that clarity moment which will let you see what you really love and what you really want to achieve.
I have always thought of myself as this person capable of doing a lot ,but unfortunately I always end up doing nothing ,and I reached a point where I felt that I am just living, doing my job and practicing my daily routine thinking that this is the balance I need in order to live a healthy happy life. Well, that still wasn't fulfilling.
Fulfillment is more like a building; putting the first brick without any pattern or an idea of how it will look like. That was the approach I decided to take. So, just start with small tiny consistent steps towards what you feel you have potential in. Soon it will have a shape and that is when you will start feeling the achievement which will lead to fulfillment at the end. Who knows it might start a whole new page for you and create a whole new path.
For me, starting my own blog and sharing ideas with people is my first brick. Maybe I will end up writing my own book.
Finally, do not quit what you do, just start doing what you love beside it and have faith.
