Application developers should not have to become experts in the underpinnings of the library just to use it.”

This has ALWAYS been my concern about web development tooling. In my opinion, a good tool should be relatively simple to use, at least on a surface level. If it requires hundreds of hours of use and tons of headaches before you can be said to have “mastered” it, then can it actually be called a useful tool?
