Same here Meg . I’m still trying to analyze why it was sent to who it was sent to. As best I can figure it’s something like the read ratio, which seems to be high for short story(fiction and biographical non-fiction) and poetry writers, as compared to more prolific blog writers or tech/advice writers.
The input form and the letter make it clear that they aren’t interested in my style of writing, since it looks like they want to push tech/”news”/personal growth stories.
I have a feeling that they are going to be surprised that their matrix ended up singling out so many fiction and poetry writers, when that seems to be what they’ve tried to bury with their push algorithm. Irony in advertising.
