This is exactly what has been happening in segments of America. People have been duped into believing that the Unions take advantage of the workers more then the businesses try to. Ditto with Women’s rights in the intensely religious environments here.

What so few countries have had, on a successful level at least, is something like the Nationwide Women’s strike in Iceland in 1975. If you listen to the BBC witness story in the following link, the song that the women, standing in unison against oppression is as haunting as it is majestic.
