I didn’t make the Curry/Wall comparison, KOC did. I simply pointed out why his argument didn’t make much sense; Irving had three seasons to develop as a PG, and unlike those two, he didn’t.
As for the Curry/Harden/Westbrook group… Irving is 25, with six seasons under his belt. He’s made the All-NBA third team once, in his fourth season. He didn’t make the playoffs until LeBron came back. Curry made All-NBA 2nd team in his fifth season, and won MVP the next year. He was the best player on a second round team (in the West) in his third season. Harden made All-NBA third team in his fourth season (his first as a starter), then the first team the next two years. He was the best player on a Western playoff team in each of those years, including one conference finals appearance. Westbrook made All-NBA 2nd team in his third season, and hasn’t dropped below that since (except when injured). We can’t make the “best player on a playoff team” comparison in his case for obvious reasons.
Kyrie is a star. He’s not a superstar.
