Have you ever wondered how people can make money with digital art? It seems a bit strange that someone would pay for a digital product, right? It’s not as strange as you might think when you start from the need of the consumer.

Here is a quick tip on that. Does your product solve a problem or create a strong emotion. The more you can deliver on one or the other the more your product will sell.

Let me explain. Most people start their digital art creation process with what they like to create. Not really an entirely bad idea since a big part of staying creative is having the energy and motivation to create.

So choosing art that you like to create helps in this area of your life. That doesn’t necessarily translate to making any money though. This is probably one of the reasons why so many artists fail to make a living.

As artists we want to sell our digital art but we need to be a little more business minded. I know, it doesn’t sound like fun but it’s how we learn to market our digital art and make a living which allows us to keep creating!
