Team saviors has undertaken numerous projects to fulfil Sustainable Development goal 4:
- Project of Pre- Primary Slum Education:
Slum education refers to educational initiatives and programs that focus on providing quality education to children living in slum communities. According to the SDG 4 indicator 4.2 team saviors ensure EQUAL ACCESS TO QUALITY PRE- PRIMARY education and for the fulfillment of this indicator Team Saviors are working on the slum community where team saviors admit over 30 children’s of every age and gender in the school for 3months. Team saviors admitted 8 children in the 1st phase and work on their hygiene, personal growth, literacy and provide them with the teacher who give them basic pre- primary education which make them able to take admission in the school. This project last for 2months.
2. Book Bank Project:
Book Bank Project refers to an initiative community by an educational institution or social organization where books are collected and made available for the people who are financially unstable.
Team Saviors worked on this project with the collaborations of 6 circles (Amal Academy).This project focuses on implementing the 4.3 indicator LITERACY RATE AMONG YOUTH AND ADULTS of SDG goal 4 .For this project team saviors have an impressive collection of over 10000 books. They collected these books from their connections in the students and every year they donate and lend these books to deserving students. After completing their academic years, the students return the books, keeping the cycle of flowing. They are aiming to build a public library in future for providing further assistance to deserving students.
3. Malala Fund Collaboration (Work for Girls Education):
Team Saviors has been working towards promoting girl’s education with the collaboration of Malala Fund. An important indicator from SDG Goal 4 quality education that Team Saviors implementing in this project is GENDER PARITY in education. This means that team saviors striving to ensure equal access to the education for girls. They aim to provide every girl with the opportunity for equality education and empower her to become independent and confident individual.
4. Free learning courses project by Team saviors:
Currently, Team Saviors is offering free learning courses including graphics designing, content writing, spoken English and interpersonal management skills. Team Saviors is implementing SDG goal 4 indicator 4.4 EQUAL ACCESS TO SKILLS DEVELOPMENT and VOCATIONAL TRAINING for this project. In the 1st phase team saviors aim to provide assistance 300 students with valuable skills that enhance their educational opportunities. Out of these they have shortlisted 150 students who will get basic technical education. Team saviors aim to open a real technical center for the youth to enhance their valuable skills and empower them for future.
